Marathon Kids Active Schools Grants (K-8): Apply by 12/1
Grants, valued up to $2,500, are available to bring Marathon Kids’ evidence-based running program in K-8 grades. Marathon Kids running clubs have been proven effective and can jumpstart healthy, long-lasting change. Kids incrementally run 104.8 miles, track their mileage, earn rewards, and have fun while increasing their physicalactivity. Grants - made possible by contributions from NIKE, Inc. through Let’s Move! Active Schools - can support up to 125 runners.

Saucony Run for Good Grants: The Saucony Run for Good Foundation is committed to reversing obesity rates by offering children the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of running and a healthier lifestyle. Maximum award size is $10,000 to initiate, expand, or improve running programs for children and/or teens. Deadlines are on February 1st and August 1st annually.

JRFH/HFR GRANT INFO-
The Society of Health and Physical Education of Nebraska invites applications from Coordinators of Jump Rope for Heart (JRFH) or Hoops for Heart (HFH) events to request funding for events designed to promote JRFH/HFH. The JRFH/HFH MINI GRANT is for up to $250.
Specialized Foundation-riding with focus
Specialized Foundation just announced they are accepting application for their Riding with Focus program for next school year. https://www.specialized.com/us/en/apply If you are interested in starting or developing a school cycling program for grades 6, 7, or 8, check this out. Selected schools will receive up to 30 youth bikes and helmets, maintenance kit, curriculum, and a trip to Specialized Headquarters for training and support--valued at $15,000.
